Chris Gauthier

An effective communicator, Chris pursued a career in communications after studying Physical Education at University of Ottawa from 1983 to 1987. Bilingual announcer and commentator for several national and international events, including three Olympic Games and the FIFA World Cup, he has become a prominent face in broadcasting and event hosting.

After a two-year stint at CKCH-Hull, he graduated to CKAC-Montreal radio in 1992. He also started with TVA-TV the following year. Chris enjoyed an 18-year stand at CKAC and 98.5 FM, having also worked at TQS and TVA-LCN for fifteen years. He has been active on Montreal television and radio since the early 90’s.

Chris Gauthier has been socially involved for several years in various activities and regional organizations. He is noticeably chairman of the board of Vox Luminosa Vocal Ensemble and vice-president of Excellence Repentigny, a program designed to encourage young elite athletes and artists through a generous grant program. Chris is known for his sense of organization, his interpersonal skills and his determination. He acquired Communication Lanaudière in March 2015, becoming G5 Communications in the spring of 2019.

Michel Racette

Michel Racette

Founding Vice-President and Senior Advisor

Founder of Communication Lanaudière in 1985, Michel Racette has a public relations and journalism degree from the University of Montreal and also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the same institution. He also graduated in communications studies at the HEC in conjunction with the Montreal Advertising Club and the Société des relationnistes du Québec.

Michel has been active in communications and public relations for more than 35 years. He has acted as reporter for CJLM radio in Joliette, as well as for regional weekly newspapers and publications for ten years in the Montreal region. Michel has also had noticeable stints at CKAC and the NTR Network (Canadian Press).

A very meticulous and dedicated team player, he specializes in media relations and training, event organization, sponsorship, strategic communications and integrated communications campaigns.

He has carried out numerous mandates in the most diverse sectors, including municipal, health, and public/parapublic services. He has been, and still is, a member of various boards of directors and currently holds the chairmanship of Aramusique and the Repentigny-La Seigneurie Lions Club.

Michel Goudreau

Michel Goudreau

Senior Advisor

Described as an innovator, creator and strategic planner, he was principal of Riverains CFP (Professional Training Center and Adult Eduation), in Repentigny from 2004 to 2014. Michel graduated with history and archeology degrees at the University of Quebec in Trois-Rivières (UQTR). He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in behavior modification from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). Michel Goudreau is very much involved with educational, social and economic organizations.

Considered by many as a visionary, he has received several local and national recognitions. Amongst others, the 1995 Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in the Teaching of Science, Technology and Mathematics and the 2000 Quebec Public Administration Excellence Award. He was also recognized for the Envolée High School project in Lachenaie, as well as the 2009 ADRIQ TechnoScience Succession Award for the Three Degrees in Five Years program in Electronics and Computer Science (PISC).

Michel was also honorary president of the Gala des Mérites coopératifs lanaudois in October 2010, received the Personality Of The Month distinction from the Quebec Network of Information Technologies in December 2010 and he was awarded the silver medal of the Merit Order from the Quebec Federation of School Boards in 2011.

Louise Bourget

Louise holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Laval University in Quebec City. She has extensive experience in content development (websites, social media, print media) as well as editorial team and deadline management. She has distinguished herself in newspaper edition, document writing of all kinds and content production, always and unfailingly with consistency.

Previously employed by TC Media as content manager, Louise boasts a solid reputation locally and regionally. Moreover, in recent years, several projects have led her to collaborate with many decision makers and all, without exception, have appreciated her professionalism.

In addition to being Director of Communications for the National Bank Repentigny Junior Tennis Internationals, Louise is also responsible, with G5 Communications, for the planning and development of communications strategies and action plans adapted to various needs and the expectations of the firm’s clients, the production of promotional material, events and press relations. She also supervises the development of original and innovative products, depending on the sector of activity, in order to ensure the best positioning for our customers and contribute to their strategic positioning and success.

Jean Chartrand

Jean Chartrand

Teaching Instructor and Trainer, Senior Advisor

Jean Chartrand is a trained physical educator and is one of the pioneers of outdoor leisure centers and green spaces in Quebec. His career and his professional path have always been focused on coaching and training both young and old.

Creator of specific and adapted teaching methods and approaches used throughout Canada, Jean has also worked as radio and TV producer for the last twenty years. He successfully trains and supports leaders of the largest public and private companies in Quebec in specific areas of expertise and study such as media relations, public speaking and persuasive communications. His natural passion for teaching, as well as his contagious energy are always a key asset to his clients’ success.

Nicolas Giuristante

Nicolas Giuristante

Digital Consultant

Despite his young age, Nicolas has an impressive track record, in addition to being entrepreneurial. For example, he assumed the role of marketing director for Activix, designing its new graphic identity. His expertise also extends to the analysis, creation and design of websites, videos and UI / UX streams [user experience] for mobile applications.

Another string to his bow, Nicolas has been the technical director of the National Bank Junior Tennis Internationals since 2018. The tournament will be celebrating its 35th edition in 2021.
